Open Day

Open Day: 29 March 2012 at 16.00

Open days target upper secondary or vocational training students, and their friends and family. The key objective is for you to get a first-hand taste of the facilities and campus life awaiting you.

Free entry. Just turn up at Building I (reception) at the specified time.

What does the open day include?

During the open day you will get the chance to tour Facultad de Informática facilities. We will visit lecture theatres and computer suites, the library, the computer centre, the sports facilities, ... and much much more. Also, you will get the chance to see the Computing History Museum, visit Madrid's Supercomputing and Visualization Centre, housing Spain's second most powerful computer, and find out about student internships in research laboratories.

You will also receive information about the undergraduate degree in informatics engineering and the undergraduate degree in mathematics and informatics taught at the Facultad de Informática.

How to get here

The Facultad de Informática is very well communicated by several intercity bus routes and light railway. See the How to get here page for detailed information about how to get to the campus by both private car and public transport.

I would like to attend but am unable to

What could be better than seeing things with your own eyes? But if you really can't make it, don't worry, the Facultad de Informática's website contains everything you need to know. The About Us page is a good starting point.

I need more information...

Contact us directly. We will be only too pleased to answer your queries.
